Kudos to the photographers who can get good shots of this bird in flight. They move around too erratic for me. Luckily this landed close enough to me to get a shot or two off. It was a dark day and this was lightened a bit.

I love their colors! Besides the blue jay and the cardinal we do not get too many birds with bright colors.

I particularly like swallows.
When I was a child they would come to nest under my balcony and then when it was time to leave I would see them all lined up on an electricity wire.
Now to see them I have to go to the countryside.
I keep finding them elegant with their tails.

Although I have found these in fields I am also seeing them a lot on the shore of the river. They make sudden moves when flying. It’s hard for me to catch them in flight. They will fly right towards me and fly above my head.
