Plaid seems to be in for blankets, sweaters, and other clothing the past 2 years. This is the first time I have seen a barn painted in a plaid pattern. This definitely stands out. It is far from the normal worn wood or red colouring. Get out an explore! You will be surprised what you may find out there.
It’s the same plaid as on the packaging of Cabot’s Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese. A Vermont staple! Cabot is a cooperative, so the milk comes from many farms. I didn’t know it came from as far away as Connecticut. Cool paint job! 😀

This is northern Ct. since the Cabot sign is there I think that means his cows are part of it. Very cool paint job indeed.

That must’ve been one hell of a job to paint.

It had to be this year I’m thinking. Definitely during Covid. I usually pass that area a few times a year. Much appreciate the effort put into it.

Maybe the owners are just referring to the “checkered” past of the barn or area? Mmmmmm?!? jerry

I did not get too close to it. I took the picture from across the street. Regardless of how they did it it looks cool. Kudos to the farmer.
