I do not know how people get owls in great light. I never see barred owls especially, out in the open. They are usually hiding in a bush, within the dark part of the woods, or within branches.

    1. It was chill. This year not so chill. Great horns came onto their territory. Don’t know if they moved the babies when they fledged or if the great horned family killed them. I am hoping they moved them. I did see all the babies from two nests after they fledged and saw the parents hunting for food for a few weeks.
