I hear frogs many times I hike near water. However, I usually do not spot them. A friend I was hiking with spotted this guy first. He stayed there for a long time below a trail bridge as interested in us as we were with him.

When we stop seeing things through the eyes of others, we risk loosing the ability to help them see through our eyes.

I think it was in the 80s. I’m sure he was cooling off. Usually they go under the water if you get near them.

Yes, the reflection in the eye is nice. I also like the tiny little leaves that float on the water’s surface and that complement the frog’s color.

Lucky with the sky that day and the fact he cooperated with us! Had to actually back up to get the picture. He was right next to a bridge we were on.
